Miki ...

This came in the mail for me today <3<3

So, 1 Kanako icon, 1 Osasa icon, 1 Osa icon and 1 Ellen&Portia icon ... and everything else is Miki, or Miki and someoneelse (Yan/Tamo XD) *grins* Does anyone else think I maybe need a wider variety of icons? XD

Oh oh, dark_toothfairy  ! I was surfing around for Ellen&Portia icons and this user had the cutest, sweetest animated Carla&Stella icon <3<3<3 That was so cute!! ^__^ *giggles* I so want one too XD

Okay, I will admit that I didn't really bother looking at Mizu's special DVD-BOX until I saw this on Miki's blog.

Why does she get a special talk with Miki?! (Not that she shouldn't, but that Asako should have had one too *pout*)
Miki went to watch her show in Tokyo (on this tv show) ... and now there's this special talk on Mizu's DVD box set ...
I'm assuming it's not the same thing ... So, seems like Miki and her are closer than I'd thought they were ... *wonders*

A few other roles have been revealed :D My focus is here: シュトラッサー少佐: 悠未 ひろOooh, that makes her Major Strasser ... Bad guy? Lol XD I have never watched the film, so I have no idea what the story is about ^_^ *blissfully ignorant* So I have resorted to the source of all information (i.e. Wikipedia) to find out what/who Major Strasser is/was.

"At this point, the reason for Rick's bitterness re-enters his life. His ex-lover, Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman) arrives with her husband, Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid), a fugitive Czech Resistance leader long sought by the Nazis. The couple need the letters to leave Casablanca for America to continue his work. German Major Strasser (Conrad Veidt) arrives to ensure that Laszlo does not succeed."
He's German! LOL. What is with this infusion of German people in my life? ;) Not that I'm complaining ... *giggles* So, he's here to stop the good guys. Ahh, bad guy - poor Tomochin *cuddles* But she really does have the "bad guy" face XD

"They are interrupted when a group of Nazi officers led by Strasser begins to sing "Die Wacht am Rhein", a German patriotic song. In response, Laszlo orders the house band to play "La Marseillaise", the French national anthem. The band looks to Rick for permission, and he nods his head. Uhm, I'm not sure it's funny ... But it made me giggle a bit ^_^;;; Ooops. I wonder how closely Zuka is going to follow the film. Am I going to get to hear Tomochin sing? ^^ I do like her voice!

Hahahahaha XD In case anyone didn't know, my undergraduate course is related to the construction industry, though not quite of the go-to-a-construction-site-and-start-pouring-cement type ;) Anyway, I'm in my last year (4th year! Can't believe it) in Uni and I've been looking at various Universities in the UK and Europe to maybe do my Masters ^_^ And today I came across this ... from the Robert Gordon University (in Scotland).

" Applications from female candidates are particularly welcomed as the University supports the aims of the National Association of Women in Construction."

That. Is. Awesome. !! ^___^v *grins* Awesome because ...
1) They have such an association?!!, and
2) The University supports it!

I know it's nothing fantastic BUT it's my darling baby girl <3
She's so adorable and cute and she got to dance with Rantom (in a group fo 5) for Gyakuten II!!
And that made me so incredibly proud of her! Because I worry and worry that she won't make it on star track.
And I heard she was in the finale picture (in the background, of course) for Gyakuten II <3
And I hope and hope she'll be promoted, so I'll write a lot and send presents! <3

Now, back to real life, my dissertation and school work ^_^v

Oh, and I've been wanting to organize some kind of sales here for the longest time.
I have limited space and a montly subscription of Graph through the local Kinokuniya.
This = Graph magazines > space available. So I need to sell some Graph.
I'm not selling every issue - but if you have any issue you want, let me know and I'll see if I can sell it you.
Sorry this is so disorganized, but at the moment, I can't spare the time to sort it out ^^;;

Wow, Miki just updated her blog 2 days ago. o_o; An amazing thing ...
She actually blogged about going to watch a Takarazuka show.
Now, this doesn't seem like a big deal. After all, many OGs blog about going to watch shows.
However, this is amazing because ever since beomcing a fan and reading her blog daily, this is the first time that I've seen her blog about going to watch a show. O_O;;; The first time.
She didn't just say that she went to watch it. She actually talked at length about it.
And it's RanTom's "Gyakuten Saiban II".

Do you know what this means?

This means my darling went to Akasaka ACT Theatre on Sunday, and watched my baby girl on stage <3<3<3
This makes me oddly excited ^__________________^V
I shall translate it later perhaps :D <3<3

Shinjinkouen cast list is up :D Yay Mirio <33 I didn't really doubt that she'd get the lead ^_^
I'm so proud of her ^___^V Also, special mention to Aikaze Yume, my baby girl's douki <3

I'm really glad to hear that she's fine, and I'll probably write to tell her ^_^; Thanks to everyone who showed their concern (to me XD lol!) *hugs for all* ^__^V

You only feel disappointed if you expect.
So if you don't expect, you won't be disappointed.
I need to learn how to do that.

in happier news, I received an email from my Japanese friend - she managed to help me get 2 A-seat tickets to Last Play in Tokyo on 18Dec ^__^ That's awesome news! I was really afraid that I wouldn't be able to get tickets ... or have to resort to expensive auction tickets :) At least I know I have seats for at least one performance ^_^ For those who are scratching their heads, yes - official sales haven't started yet ^_^; She has can get presale tickets through her "card company" <-- I have no idea as to what she's referring to XD She puts "カード会社" in her email ... which is "card company", but ... I don't know what ...  card ... company ... ^^;;;; It's not Tomo no Kai. Because the Tomo no Kai pre-sales hasn't even started yet. Maybe it's her workplace ... *frowns* Oh wells ^___^ Maybe I'll ask when I see her in December.

I should watch The Quiz Show. I never finished watching it - only the first few episodes and the one that Miki was a guest in. ^^;
But it's such a depressing show ^_^;;

The other one she's in right now - is Buzzer Beat. A basketball show.
It also has the Absolute Boyfriend girl in it - Aibu Saki. She's not so sweet and innocent this Buzzer Beat though ;)
Miki's the mother of the main lead in Buzzer Beat. She's adorable in that show ^__^ <3<3 But it just started showing ...

So I guess I'll stick to watching BOSS for now ... and wait for Miki's lawyer drama to come up <3<3

This is going to be super quick, dash-hurry-type post, cause I'm just awesomely tired.

I have tourists friends over <3 the lovely and witty broodingvampire  and of course, the absolutely gorgeous and sweet dark_toothfairy 
It's been absolute madness and great fun day after day ... And I already know I'll miss them dearly when they go home u_u

This is just to let the people concerned about my lovely guests that they are fine, healthy and unblemished.
Tsk! XD We've just been to the zoo today, looked at pretty animals, ran away from the wildlife (a.k.a. kids >.<), squeed over the cute penguins and played games at the playground XD Then we had delicious (non-German-style) apple strudel *yum* and then went back to their hotel room to chat the night away. And that is why I'm awesomely tired ^^; Because I only left their room at ... well, sometime close to midnight. And I had to speed all the way home ^_^;; We're meeting at 10am tomorrow for a Culture FastForward tour *grins* So I should probably be getting some sleep ... kinda soon ^_^
